Bespoke bow top metal railings have added the finishing touches to the new Hampden Gardens housing project in Thame, Oxfordshire.
Thame is an affluent town renowned for its captivating heritage. The area is a highly desirable location due to its excellent local road links and public transport services.
Alpha Rail was contracted by Bellway Homes to supply, deliver and install bespoke bow top fencing around the various show homes within the Hampden Gardens estate. The housing estate is situated on a 198 hectare historical park, and is the former site of a Cistercian Abbey. Comprising of an elegant collection of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes, the houses range from semi-detached to detached style houses and are designed to suit the needs of families, professionals and first time buyers.
In total, Alpha Rail supplied and installed 44 linear metres of 1100mm bow top metal railings which were accompanied by 50x50mm rooted posts with a decorative finial added to provide an aesthetically pleasing finish.
To prevent rust and protect against elements such as rain and frost all metalwork was galvanised and polyester powder coated Black RAL 9005.
Commenting on behalf of Bellway Homes, Senior Site Manager, Kyle Munden said “Alpha Rail delivered a very professional service. As promised the railings were delivered and installed on time and more importantly met the technical specifications.”
Phil Ball, Sales Director at Alpha Rail added, “We have worked with Bellway Homes for a number of years now on a variety of projects located across the UK. We are proud to play our part in ongoing projects that contribute towards creating the right impression for residents visiting the housing estate.”
