Mini golf is a very popular activity that is enjoyed by many and is something that anyone can take part in regardless of experience, so everybody can get involved and have fun.
In most cases, mini golf courses will be quite small and very much a ‘standalone’ attraction. However, Putt in the Park Ltd goes the extra mile. With three existing sites in South London, and a new course in Colchester recently opened, players can enjoy food and drinks along with a round of mini golf.
Following the recent opening, Putt in the Park Ltd appointed Alpha Rail to supply and install metal railings around the new course, with the aim to stop dogs from running on the course and taking the golf balls. In total, 25 metres of interlaced bow top railings and 25 metres of vertical bar railings with gates to match both styles was installed around the course.
All metalwork was hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 followed by a polyester powder coated finish in RAL 9005 jet black to add further protection and give a sleek and smart look to the metalwork.
Commenting on the project, David Beamish of Putt in the Park said, “We have worked with Alpha Rail for around six years and have used their products on our Wandsworth Park and Battersea Park sites in London, so we were happy to work together on our new Colchester course. The new mini golf course will provide hours of entertainment for all, with the metal railings providing a secure boundary for years to come.”
