Alpha Rail reflects on 18-year anniversary of management buyout

On 12 December 2019, Alpha Rail will celebrate the 18th anniversary of a management buyout. This took place in 2001 and the ownership of the company was changed over to our current directors.

Alpha Rail was originally formed in 1985 and started out manufacturing pedestrian guardrail for local authorities across the UK. Later diversifying into the world of bespoke architectural metalwork, we have since worked on countless high-profile projects featuring some of the most impressive and intricate designs.

Pictured below are the founding owners David Moores and Michael Page along with members of the MBO team, Steve Shirley (now retired), Dean Briggs, Phil Ball and Mark Sipson.

Phil Ball, Sales Director at Alpha Rail commented: “Although it seems like yesterday, it has been 18 years since the MBO at Alpha Rail. We are proud to say that Alpha Rail is still going strong after such a long period of time. As 2019 comes to a close, we look forward to 2020 and all of the exciting new projects we have lined up as we head into a new decade.”
