For the last two decades, various projects have been taking place at Stonebridge Estate, London, and the surrounding area as part of a large-scale redevelopment project. The projects aim to transform the estate that was once dull and tired into a thriving neighbourhood featuring high quality apartments and lively streets.
Hyde Housing Association appointed Hill Partnerships as main contractor on one of the more recent projects, known as Stonebridge Estate sites 29-30, to carry out the associated works on the redevelopment project which will deliver 178 new homes.
Alpha Rail was appointed by Hill Partnerships to manufacture and install over 700 metres of flat infill bar railings and 50 single leaf gates. All metalwork was galvanised as standard followed by a polyester powder coated finish in RAL 1019 Grey Beige, a fitting colour to match with the apartments and walls. With its modern appearance, the flat infill bar railings complete the estate with a high end and stylish look.
Phil Ball, Sales Director at Alpha Rail commented: “The redevelopment of Stonebridge Estate has been ongoing over the last 20 years, and Alpha Rail is happy to have been a part of the project on Sites 29 and 30. The flat infill bar railings installed on this project complement the modern look of the apartments, and the polyester powder coated finish in Grey Beige is a great match to the brickwork.”
Flat infill bar railings are a popular choice for landscape architects and ideal for housing estates, schools and many more applications.
