Despite our core market being within the commercial sector on larger scale projects, Alpha Rail was contacted by Danny James, a South Wingfield resident who needed to secure part of his property.
Located at the rear of his house is a garage where the roof serves as a terrace-styled area with access to the back door and stairs into the back garden. Being on the roof of the garage, this area is surrounded by a 3-metre fall which had to be secured in order to prevent any health and safety risks.
Alpha Rail supplied 27 linear metres of 1100mm high bespoke flat top metal railings with ‘Westminster’ finials along with two matching single leaf gates at varying heights. Additionally, 6 linear metres of single handrail to steps down from the roof area. All metalwork was hot dip galvanised as standard and followed by a polyester powder coated finish in RAL 7024 granite grey.
