Guardrail Installation

Here at Alpha Rail, we specialise in guardrail installation and can install a range of standard pedestrian guardrail which is available in different sizes, including 1 metre and 2 metre lengths. Our panels are galvanised to stop rusting and with our large stock levels, we’re able to offer a fast service from start to finish to ensure we meet your project deadlines.

Guardrails are generally installed into the base course of the footpath construction where holes are excavated and the metal posts are set into concrete foundations, usually 300x300x450 deep.

What is Guardrail installation?

Guardrail installation is the process of installing guardrail within areas that require a safe way to guide pedestrians to crossing points. Different places that might need guardrail installing around them are:

Roads (as a form of protection from traffic)
Public spaces (such as stairs for support if needed)
Footpaths (for protection and help if needed)
Schools or child play areas (to provide the security/protection for children)

A guardrail installation is a truly effective way to keep people safe and although they may not be noticed by the public, they are a superb solution to keeping the public safe in certain scenarios.
