Alpha Rail were contacted by Robert Chapman at Rushcliffe fencing to see if we could supply them with estate railing and double leaf gates to match the estate railings around a new project at Belton House. Belton House is a National Trust site located in Grantham, Lincolnshire. It is an English country house estate built in the 17th century and home to the same family for nearly 300 years.
Belton House was then overgoing a full regeneration of their car park, they wanted to create an ‘all-weather’ car park. Rushcliffe fencing was in charge of the railings and gates around the car park. They contacted us to see if we were able to provide what the client was looking for. They wanted us to provide them with Estate Railings to go around the new car park and replace the old timber fencing that was there before. The goal of this would be to make the car park more secure and fit the aesthetic of the area better.
Here at Alpha Rail, we have a team of Bespoke Metalwork specialist technicians that support our clients to make the right choice for their project. We’re able to advise on design, size and other technical specifications. In this specific project, our approach was clear – Traditional Estate Rail was the right product for the job.
For this project the client wanted us to provide them with estate rail and gates to match it.
We started off by providing a full site survey of the car park to assess it. We then provided technical drawings of the gates and railings.
We then supplied the crew at Rushcliffe Fencing with the railings and gates we had made for them so they could install them around the car park.
The car park turned out wonderfully and the project really made the car park look more modern after replacing the old timber railings.
The railings were originally galvanized only but they later decided themselves to paint the railings black.
"Rushcliffe Fencing and Belton house were all pleased with the end results of each project. "- Rushcliffe Fencing
