Gregg Avenue, Heanor

Client Overview:

In January 2023, Alpha Rail was approached by LJ General Builders Ltd with the aim of adding railings to their latest housing project on Gregg Avenue, Heanor. The project entailed the supply and installation of gates, railings and handrail. LJ General Builders Ltd trusted Alpha Rail to create a safe and visually appealing environment around the new housing estate.

Project Brief:

Alpha Rails primary responsibility was to supply and install gates, railings and handrail. The products were all galvanized and polyester powder coated in colour ‘Jet Black’. The goal of this project was to secure the area around the new housing estate whilst keeping the area looking aesthetically pleasing to the public.

Alpha Rail’s Approach:

Alpha Rail approached the Gregg avenue project by starting off with an in-depth site analysis(survey) to understand the layout, architectural features and security requirements of the housing estate.

Alpha Rail had to work very closely with LJ General Builders Ltd to make sure that the railings they created were in line with the vision that they had to create around the housing estate.

Project Progress:

Alpha Rail completed this project very quickly and efficiently, and overall it ran very smoothly. The installation process was also completed within the time frame that it should have been and aligned well with the timing of the houses being built and ready for public use.

Whilst Alpha Rail did face a few challenges during this time, such as severe weather conditions in the location of the project, they used the correct approach and problem solving skills to make sure it was possible to still complete the project within the given time.

Outcomes/Results:

The final results of the Gregg Avenue project really showcased Alpha Rail’s commitment to successfully providing a great service. Alpha Rail successfully made Gregg Avenue safer but also keeping the aesthetic look to the area.

Alpha Rails ability to tailor fencing solutions to the unique requirements of the Gregg Avenue project really showed there expertise in the manufacture and installation.
