Wollaton Hall Railings (2007)

Wollaton Hall Railings (2007)

In 2007 Alpha Rail were approached by Nottingham City Council to construct some railings to go around Wollaton Hall Park. Wollaton Hall is a gorgeous grade I listed Elizabethan mansion surrounded by 500 acres of natural parkland, gardens and a deer park. Here you can always find hundreds of deer roaming freely around the land. Nottingham City Council wanted to keep the land safe for the deer by creating a bespoke set of railings where the deer would be able to freely get through them without struggle.

Earlier this week (2022) one of our members of staff was visiting Wollaton Hall and spotted our railings, still in perfect condition. Not only this but they also caught a deer using the railings exactly how they were designed to be used! He sent us over a gorgeous photo for us to show on our website of how well the bespoke railings are working to protect the deer.
